Our two chefs Ngurah and Budi are at your service to prepare daily breakfast, lunch and dinner. Ngurah is an absolute wizard with cakes and desserts, while Balinese food is a specialty of Budi’s.
The Longhouse offers delicious meals from a suggestion menu featuring Asian and western dishes to cater to all tastes, with an excellent selection of vegetarian and children’s options. We can also tailor meals to accommodate any special dietary requirements or specific requests.
Themed banquets range from regional Indonesian delights, to Italian and Moroccan cuisine, all complemented by wine or cocktails. The staff love to throw a party – decorating the gardens for Balinese festivities and organising a traditional dance ensemble for entertainment. The chefs will personally select the freshest catch from Jimbaran market for lavish seafood barbecues, and also offer private cookery classes, which include a trip to the market (charges apply).
For stays of more than one week we offer a complimentary Rindik orchestra in the garden – the perfect accompaniment to an alfresco feast or pre-dinner canapés.
All groceries and beverages are costed at market price plus a 20% handling fee (which is subject to prevailing government tax and service charges). Guests will be requested to provide grocery money in advance, and the staff will do the shopping and keep the receipts for reference. To make the most of the kitchen and give staff time to shop, it is a good idea to plan meals the evening before.
